Advocacy
Service through personal experience:
Over the span of two decades, I managed my parents' multiple chronic and acute health care problems, hospitalizations and medical equipment needs - long distance. I developed a personal health record for each of my parents which has been enormously beneficial for not only medical appointments, but for emergency medical situations, second opinions, even those phone calls in the middle of the night.
