I developed a chronic sleeping problem several years ago characterized by difficulty getting to sleep and waking up frequently throughout the night. By researching sleep issues, she identified specific foods and beverages that could negatively affect sleep patterns or cause inflammation, foods that could assist in relaxation and inducing sleep, over-the-counter and prescription medications that interfered with sleep and explored effective relaxation techniques. Applying this knowledge, she developed a wellness routine that dramatically improved her sleeping patterns and general health.
